On October 29, 2012, EDWIN F. PRESTON; Past President of Maryland States Firemen's Association, long time member of the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department and retired employee of C&P Telephone Company; he was the beloved husband of the late Shirley; devoted son of the late Edgar Allen Preston and Florence preston; dear brother of Barbara Watts and her husband E. Bruce Watts, and the late Virginia Jett, cherished uncle of E. Bruce Watts, III, Daniel Allan Watts, Stephen Michael Watts, Martha Smith and Julie Koch and great-uncle of Courtney, Christopher, Sarah, Ingrid, and Caroline.
Family members and friends will honor Edwin's life at our Arbutus location on Saturday, November 3, 2012 and Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church on Monday, November 5, 2012 beginning at 10AM. Interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed in Ed's name to the Arbutus Volunteer Fire Department.
