Edward "Butch" Smith, Sr.

Edward “Butch” K. Smith, Sr., age 75, passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2020. Butch was proud to have served in the Vietnam War in the Army. He is the beloved husband of Cynthia Smith; cherished father of Edward K. Smith, Jr.,Vicky Neville, Amy Musgrove-LaPenna and her husband Nick, and the late Lindsay Marie Smith;dear brother of Robert, the late Shirley, the late Billy, the late Penny, & the late Sharon; cherished grandfather of Lauren, Courtney, Norman, Justin, Ava, and the late Nicole; great grandfather of Joshua, Jayceon, Brantley. Butch is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends and his fur baby Patches.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Wednesday from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12:15pm followed by burial at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. Due to current restrictions only 50 people are allowed in the building at one time and a face mask is required.
