Edward J. Smith sadly passed away on September 13, 2018 at the age of 89. He is the loving husband of Larue Smith; beloved son of the late Paul Smith and the late Genevieve Smith; cherished father of Maria Mavioglu; caring grandfather of John T. Cook IV and his wife Danielle, and Edward J. Cook; dear great grandfather of Caden Cook. Family and friends may gather at the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home Inc. 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd. Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 3-5PM and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11AM. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery 3620 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229.
