Edna "Betty" Gumm

E. Betty Gumm, age 88, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2016. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Guerney “Bud” Gumm.  She is the devoted mother of Richard Batz and his wife Linda, Susan March and her husband Frank, and Michael Batz and his wife Paula; loving grandmother of Michele Torrence and her husband Tom, Eric Batz, Kimberly Cudanin and her husband Melvin, Jason March, Frank March IV, Brooke Cook, and Morgan Batz. Betty is also survived by many great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Monday January 11 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 11am followed by burial in Crownsville Veteran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Betty’s memory to Linthicum Baptist Church, 611 S Camp Meade Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.
