On September 02, 2021 Edna Catherine Hoehl (nee Clemens) passed away peacefully at home with her caregiver & granddaughter Tara Miller by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J Hoehl Jr.; devoted mother to Edna M Olejnik (nee Burke), Teresa J Sexton (nee Hoehl), Louis J Hoehl, Annette E Knicely (nee Hoehl), and the late Vivian D Burke. She also cherished her 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Ambrose Funeral Home, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 1-3pm & 5-7pm. The service will take place at Ambrose Funeral Home Thursday, September 9th at 10:00 am followed by the interment at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, 1080 Sunrise Beach Rd, Crownsville, MD 21032 on September 9, 2021 at 11:30 am.
After the service everyone is invited to join us at Sorrento’s Arbutus, 5401 East Dr for a celebration/birthday gathering. Her favorite places to eat were Sorrento’s, G&M restaurant & Silver Spring Mining Co for her love of pizza, crab cakes and sour beef & dumplings. She also loved her morning coffee, donuts, animals, Halloween, the beach and watching Harry Potter over & over again.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Rd., Suite D Timonium, MD 21093, or to any animal shelter of your choice.
