Duane Gamble

On May 6, 2016, Duane W. Gamble passed away. For 54 years Duane was the beloved husband of Anna Maria (Leone) Gamble; he was the loving father of Sharon R. Gamble & her husband Dr. Ron Orlando, Major General (U.S. Army) Duane A. Gamble & his wife Sandra (Bartsocas) Gamble, Joseph J. Gamble & his wife Mary (Anderson) Gamble, Michael V. Gamble & his wife Kelly (Smith) Gamble, Maria Gamble-Farkas & her husband Lewis Farkas, Jr., and Matthew P. Gamble & his wife Elizabeth (Ashburn) Gamble; Duane was the cherished grandfather of Maria, Caroline, & Leah Orlando, Andrea & Olivia Gamble, Joshua, Alexandra, Andrew, & Paige Gamble, Gabrielle & Madison Gamble, Anna Gamble & Daniel Farkas, and Preston & Ruby Gamble; He was survived by his brothers George "Jute" Gamble, Benjamin D. Gamble, & Edward "Bud" Gamble; Duane was also preceeded in death by his parents the late George W. Gamble & the late Bessie M. (Weimer) Gamble, his sister, the late Marian V. (Gamble) Jackman, as well as his brother, the late Thomas E. Gamble.

Relatives and friends may call at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227, on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Catholic Community at Relay, 5025 Cedar Avenue Relay, MD 21227, starting at 11am. Interment will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016, in the Maryland Veteran's Cemetery at Rocky Gap, 14025 Pleasant Valley Road NE Flintstone, MD 21530, at 2pm.

At Duane's family's request, donations may be directed to either the Multiple Myeloma Research Fund, www.themmrf.org, or to the St. Agnes Cancer Institute, www.give.stagnes.org.
