Dorothy M. “Dottie” Roedel, age 76, passed away on October 24, 2017 with her children at her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Gerald M. Roedel; loving mother of Michael A. Roedel, Christine A. Brown and her husband Joseph, and Michele D. Reid and her husband Thomas; cherished grandmother of Jerry, Heather, Jackie, Joey, Miranda, Laci, Anthony and Chris, and great grandmother of Alexa and Nicholas; dear sister of Lois Gallion, Mary Hare and Dawn Lowry. Also, survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Dottie’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227 with a public viewing on Friday from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Saturday beginning at 10am. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery. At the family’s request donations in Dottie’s memory may be directed to the University of Maryland Medical Center: Neurology Division, 22 S.
