Dorothy Louise Fishel

Dorothy Louise Graybeal Fishel, a St. Agnes Hospital night supervisor for over 30 years, passed away at the age of 92, on May 7, 2015. Dorothy was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles, and a volunteer at the Maryland Science Center and has enjoyed traveling all over the world. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Merton Fishel. Survived by her loving children Ed Fishel and his wife Barbara, Pegg Melfa and her husband Lawrence, and Sue Ramzy; cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Matthew and Robert Fishel, Lauren, Mackenzie and Adam Melfa, Justin, Hunter and Meggie Ramzy. Dear sister of Dr. C. Edward Graybeal and John Graybeal.

Family members and friends will honor Dorothy’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, Maryland 21227 with a public visitation on Tuesday from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday at Arbutus United Methodist Church, 1201 Maple Ave., Arbutus, MD. Beginning at 10AM. Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, at the family’s request, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be directed to the Arbutus United Methodist Church.
