Dorothy Malchester
January 22, 1920 — May 12, 2014
On May 12, 2014 DOROTHY "Dot" C. MALCHESTER; beloved wife of 62 years of Norbert; loving mother of Gail Malchester and Mike and Michelle Malchester; cherished Nammy of Katelyn, Megan, and Michael; dear sister-in-law of Leola Kohlhaus; also survived by her nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dot was very active throughout her 94 years. She kept busy with countless organizations including the Ferndale Garden Club, Ferndale Road Runners, Ferndale Community Club, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Arbutus, and the Anne Arundel Fair Board. Impressively, she was the first female president of the Walther League and even achieved 4-H All Star status. Dot was an avid bowler and sometimes bowled 2-3times a week, loving every minute of it. Somehow she also found time to volunteer as an active member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Linthicum.
