Dorothy Bowers (Nee Thiele)

Dorothy T. Bowers, age 83, passed away on February 8, 2017 in Arbutus, Maryland. Dorothy was born on March 15, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William August Thiele and the late Dorothy Mae Thiele (nee Taylor). She was the beloved wife of the late Thurman E. Bowers for 56 years before his passing in 2010. Loving mother of Mark E. Bowers and his wife Nancy, and Jacqueline Ross and her husband Ronald. Cherished grandmother of Abigail and her husband Eric, Joshua, Kaitlyn, and great grandmother of Landon.

Family members and friends will honor Dorothy’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD. 21227 with a public viewing on Tuesday, 02/14/17 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will follow on Wednesday, 02/15/17 beginning at 9:45am. Interment to follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
