Doris H. Dahlweiner, age 92, passed away on September 23, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland. Doris was born on February 25, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Louise Shaffer (nee Cromwell) and Maurice John Shaffer. She is the beloved wife of the late Elmer Dahlweiner; loving mother of Mark Dahlweiner and his wife Loretta, Lisa Herring and her husband Marvin, and the late Bruce Dahlweiner and the late Gail Miller; cherished grandmother of Michael, Amy, James, Laura, Matthew, Bethany and Brittany; great grandmother of eleven and great great- grandmother of one. Also, survived by her dear sisters Irene Turner and Elaine Shaffer.
Family members and friends will honor Doris’ life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD 21227 with a public viewing on Wednesday, 9/27/17 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, 9/28/17 beginning at 11am.
