Donald Zinsmeister

Donald Zinsmeister ,Sr., age 92, peacefully passed away on March 9, 2022 in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was born on July 21, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Grace Beck & the late Henry Zinsmeister. Donald is the beloved husband of the late Beatrice J. Zinsmeister; loving father of Donald B. Zinsmeister, Jr. of Salisbury, Maryland and Michele L. Zinsmeister of Stuart, Florida; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews & devoted friend of all. He is preceded in death by his brother William “Bill”, Charles, Clarence “Lee”, Norbert “Butz”, and John Zinsmeister, and sisters Doris Cummings and Lois Norfolk.

Prior to retirement, Don had a long and successful career with Hobart Corp. as a salesman in Baltimore, MD, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia, PA and as a branch manager in Wilmington, DE, and Salisbury, MD.

Family & friends may gather in our Arbutus location for a public visitation on Thursday, March 17 from 4:00-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Church of the Ascension on Friday at 10AM. Interment will immediately follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
