Donald Borkoski, Sr.

Donald J. Borkoski, Sr, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 after a brief battle with a variant form of Leukemia. He was 73 years old.

Don worked as a dental technician from the time he was in high school right up to retirement, which he started several years ago. He spent his retirement spending time with his family, being outdoors in his yard, and enjoying the antics of his grandson, Jesse. Besides his wife of almost 50 years, Joann, the other great loves throughout his life were camping around the Mid-Atlantic region and old tv Westerns. Don had a particular affection for Bonanza and Gunsmoke.

Don is survived by his wife Joann and their two sons – Christopher, the youngest, and Donald Jr., the oldest, as well as Sara, his daughter-in-law and Jesse, Don and Joann’s grandson. He is also survived by his sister Margaret and her husband Bill, and his sister-in-law Gerry and her daughter Anne and her family.

There will be a graveside funeral service at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Monday January 30th at 1:00 PM. Immediate family will be present, and any relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects at this time will be welcome.
