Davis Ulrich

Davis Charles Ulrich, age 69, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2015. Mr. Ulrich is and was a great person; he loved life in general. Davis left behind a wonderful, loving family that consist of his wife of 40 years, Mary; daughter Karen; 3 sons Davis, Wayne, and Warren; 2 daughters in law Grace and Kim; 8 grandchildren; 2 God grandchildren, 3 adopted grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Davis and Mary’s adopted son Adam passed away on September 19, 2014. Mr. Ulrich saw a 2 year old little boy alongside of route 3 in 1983 and thought about his 2 year old son and it made him stop to help him find his parents. In 1986 Davis won truck driver of the year out of the entire United States. Davis won several awards along his trucking career. He was good at everything when it came to driving a truck.

Davis left behind a sister Sharon Walsh and a brother Michael Ulrich, Sr. and plenty of in laws, nephews, and nieces. Family life is what Davis looked forward to at the end of every day. Davis worked for Cowan Systems, LLC for 14 years. Both parents Jermone and Catherine Davis Ulrich passed on before him. He had a loving and caring family as well as ours. Davis will always and forever fly with the eagles.

A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Thursday, December 31 from 3-5 and 7-9pm with a wake at 8:30pm.
