On June 23, 2021, David R. Diser passed away. He was devoted son of the late Ross and Dorothy Diser; beloved significant other of Ann “Marie” Auer; loving brother of Phillip Diser and his wife Peg; dear uncle of Carol Ann Diser- Ropella and her late husband Tom & John Diser and his wife Marge; caring great-uncle of Henry, Rachel, Justin and his wife Amy, Sarah and her husband Nick. David is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
David was a graduate of South Highschool in 1960. He proudly served in the Army in Vietnam in the years following and was discharged in 1962. After college, David went on to become an accountant by trade and later retired from Federal Services. David met Marie in 1983 while watching the O’s win their last world series and have been very close friends ever since. They enjoyed many travels together and will always cherish all that they got to experience together. David was an avid model railroad buff… and this was NOT to be confused with a “Christmas Garden.” He didn’t care for that term. He loved passing the time tinkering around most likely with a Diet Coke near by, as that was his favorite. David later became a member of the Holy Apostles and St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Baltimore where services will be held and will be laid to rest in Youngstown, Ohio where David was from originally.
