Burns, beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen Burns (nee Cavey); loving father of Sonia Gullion (and husband Roger), Charlene Sullivan, Heather Burns (and husband Allen Parrish); step-father of Kimberly Slacum (and companion Sven Kirtz), and Robert Slacum; grandfather of Amanda, Molly, Roger, Tyler, Johnny, Jimmy, Tayden, Alexis, and Kiersten; great-grandfather of Jordon, and Aubrie; brother of Billy, John, Jerry, and predeceased by his siblings Mary, Larry, and Ronald.
Relatives and friends may visit at the family owned Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd. on Friday, August 17th, from 7-9pm, and Saturday, August 18th, from 3-5pm(EXTENDED FAMILY ONLY) and 7-9pm, where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 7:00pm. Interment will be private.
