Charles Stevens

Charles James Stevens peacefully passed away on August 19, 2017. He was the loving father of Cheryl, Charles and his wife Sherry, Robert and his fiancé Erin, and James; cherished grandfather of Delilah Ruth, Noah, Jacob, Corey; dear brother of RoseAnn Myers, Eileen Mackey, Helen Drexel and her husband Neil, Rita Powers and her husband Carl, and Lucy Swigert; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews; He is also survived by many other loving family members and friends including Dottie Barnes. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Stevens (nee Huffman), his daughter-in-law Angie, his parents Rita and Robert, his sisters Regina Ridgway and Michele, and his brother Henry.

Charles was a member of Teamsters Local 355. He enjoyed watching the Orioles and Ravens along with bowling. In Lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Joseph Richey House 838 N. Eutaw St. Baltimore, Md, 21202 in Charles’ Name.

A visitation will take place on Thursday August 24, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 at Ambrose Funeral home, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ascension Church, 4603 Poplar Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Friday August 25, 2017 at 10AM.
