On May 4, 2012 Charles passed away very peacefully after fighting a long illness.  Charles was preceeded in death by his wife of over 40 years E. Regina (nee Stevens).  She also passed away on May 4, 12 years ago.  He is survived by his beloved son Charles William, and 3 loving granddaughters: Katie, Annie, and Emily.  His surviving sisters are Mary, May, Liz, Eileen, Barbara, Jean, Jane, Joan and his brothers John, Raymond, Ronnie, Tommy, and Donnie.  He was preceded in death by his sisters Ellen, Frannie, and Aggie and his brother Robert.  Charlie is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charlie was a member of VFW Post 327, Korean War Veterans, Marine Corps League and American Legion Post 109, VFW Honor Guard, Korean War Veterans Honor Guard, and the 27 Flags of the American Legion Post 109.
Family members and friends may call at the family owned AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Lansdowne, on Sunday and Monday from 3-5 and 7-9PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM at The Church of the Ascension in Halethorpe.  Interment will immediately follow in the Meadowridge Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, please send a contribution in Charlie's name to the charity of your choice.
