Catherine P. Wilkinson

On August 30. 2024, Catherine (Cathy) Patricia Wilkinson, nee Puig age 67 passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Cathy, a native to Baltimore and grew up in the Arbutus area currently resided in Wake Forest, North Carolina at the time of her death. Cathy was born in January 1957 to Guy and Betty Puig, who have both preceded her in death. Cathy lived a vibrant life from beginning to end and touched the lives of many people along the way.

Cathy is survived by her adoring husband of 39 years Douglas Wilkinson, her son Cody Wilkinson and daughter Sierra Wilkinson. Also, cherished sister to Guy Edward Puig (Donna), Lisa (Puig) Gahan (Kerry), Jason E. Puig (Kelly), and sister in-law to Marty (Fred), Rick (Laura) and Jim. Plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews all of whom loved her dearly. A member of Hope Lutheran Church in Wake Forest, Cathy was a devout Lutheran who taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She earned an Associate degree from Catonsville Community College. For most of her career Cathy was an Apartment manager where she loved working and caring for her tenants. She loved traveling and visiting friends and relatives, particularly her extended family in Puerto Rico. She loved the beach and taking trips to Florida with her family. She always stayed in touch with everyone she knew letting them know she cared for them. She never forgot a birthday, always sending a card or making a call.

Cathy was a beautiful, loving and caring person who touched the lives of everyone she knew and met. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 11:00 am at Hope Lutheran Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina and on Saturday, September 21 at 11:30 am at Ambrose Funeral Home in Arbutus.
