Carole Smith

Sadly on February 19, 2018 Carole Lee Smith passed away.  Born on November 16, 1945 to the late James Howard Baker, Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Ivill Baker, Carole Lee was 72.  She was the beloved wife of the late Forrest Eugene "Butch" Smith; loving mother of Michael James McFarland and his wife Janet and William Patrick McFarland and his wife Jennifer; cherished grandmother of Abigail MacKenzie McFarland and Conor Patrick McFarland; dear sister of the late James Howard Baker, Jr., and James Harley Baker and his wife Nancy; caring aunt of Nathan Baker and Ryan Baker; Godmother of Zachary Smith and Taylor Smith; dear friend of Betty McMillan, Linda Wells, Dawn Smith & Janet Roberts.

Carole Lee's greatest love was always her family and especially being "Grammy" to Abby and Conor.

A private burial will be held for close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Carole Lee's name to St. John Lutheran Church, 226 Washburn Avenue, Brooklyn, MD 21225.
