On November 15th, 2023, Carole Chambers passed away; she was the dedicated and loving wife of the late Richard Chambers; an incredibly devoted mother to Theresa Chambers; and dear sister of Elaine Adams.
Growing up in Edmondson Village, Carole was a fun-loving spirited girl that still had lifelong and amazing friends because she always made sure people around her were well cared for and knew they were loved. She was a hairdresser for most of her adult life and also worked at Hillcrest Elementary School in the cafeteria, but if you asked her what her most important job was, she would tell you it was being a mom.
Carole also was a “Yuge” animal lover. She would treat the family dogs and other various pets as if they were her own children, spoiling and loving them like crazy. Kelsey was her doggie soulmate since she was with her for 17 years, through the loss of her husband and during the crazy world change with COVID. Bella coming into her life after so much loss brought her joy and love back again and even though the time together was short, she lit up like a Christmas tree when Bella came to see her in her final days, whispering “Awwwww, my baby girl, my everything”.
If you were lucky enough to know Carole, you now have one of the most amazing angles on your side forever.
