Carol Virkus

Carol Virkus, age 70, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Edith Cullen, her husband James Virkus, and her sister Michelle Prince. Carol is the devoted mother of Dawn Collins, John Prince, Jr., Joseph Virkus, Sr., and Florence Virkus; loving grandmother of Christopher Prince, Crystal Zimmerman, Timothy Tingler, Joseph Virkus, Jr., Erin Virkus, Jordon Virkus, and Tyler Virkus; cherished great grandmother of 9 great grandchildren; caring sister of John Cullen, Michael Cullen, Jr., and Joyce Schwartz. Carol is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A viewing will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Lansdowne, MD 21227 on Monday, February 8 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30am followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
