Carl Jansen

Carl Martin Jansen, age 70, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on June 17, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born on July 18, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Edna Jansen (nee Lenz) and the late Rudolph Jansen. Carl is the beloved father of Jennifer Jansen and beloved stepfather of Magen Short and her husband Donald; cherished grandfather of Caitlin Grieve, Lily Baldwin, and Tristan Merritt; dear cousin of Patty and Richard Grace, Dwayne Goodrich, and second cousin of Denny and Wendy Grace and Kelly & Dwayne Heimiller. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Carl was a wonderful person to all who knew and loved him. He was a DJ who loved and enjoyed music. Folks often referred to him as CJ the DJ. Just to name a few, Carl loved softball, football, baseball and playing golf. Lastly he loved to dance. We will always remember you. Gone from this world but forever remembered and never forgotten.
Family members and friend will honor Carl’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Arbutus with a public viewing on Saturday, 6/24/17 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm where a funeral service will follow the same evening beginning at 7:30pm. Interment Private.
