Carl Hopf

Carl J. Hopf sadly passed away on March 7, 2019 at the age of 93. He is the loving husband of Bette Hopf; beloved father of Barbara Keeney, Carol Penyak, Karen Braun, & Carl Hopf; cherished grandfather of Jimmy Johnston, Scott Johnston, Avery Hopf, Brenden Hopf, Angel Conner, Meghan Hilsberg, & Lindsay Lehr; dear great grandfather of Josalina Johnston & Larayne Lehr; Carl is also survived by many other loving family members & friends including his dog Lexi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl’s name to Gilchrist Hospice & Holy Nativity Lutheran Church.

Family & friends may gather at the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 1200 Linden Ave., Halethorpe, MD 21227 on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 12 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave., Baltimore, MD 21229.
