Barbara Lee Teves, age 84, sadly passed away on May 24, 2023. Barbara was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Robert J. Lewis, Jr. & the late Dorothy M. Lewis (nee Kight). She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Martin R. Teves; beloved mother of Cynthia Hoyle (Milton), Roberta Horton, Gwen Breidenbach (Frank), and Martina Grafton (Bob); caring grandmother of David Parks (Lindsay), Joshua Horton (Becky), Dixie Hoyle (Micky), Robert Grafton, Ryan Grafton (Angel), and the late Melissa Teves; cherished great-grandmother of Staff Sergeant Craig Ferger, US Army (Casey), Brantley, Dakota and Keegan Horton, Charlotte, Francesca and Porter Parks; great-great grandmother of Carter Ferger; loving sister of Robert J. Lewis III, Deborah Garbutt, and the late Edward T. Lewis (Fran); dear friend of Madeline Joyave. Also survived by nieces, nephews and loving church friends.
Family and friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, May 30 from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Transfiguration Catholic Community on Wednesday, May 31 at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Barbara Teves to Transfiguration Catholic Community, 775 W. Hamburg St, Baltimore, MD 21230 or American Kidney Fund, 7315 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814.
