AVIS G. WILT was born on March 28, 1936 in Baltimore, MD. She passed away peacefully on July 22, 2014 at the age of 78. Avis was the loving wife of the late Samuel E. Wilt, Sr.; loving mother of Deborah S. Sullivan and her husband Steven,Sr., Sandra A. Murphy and her husband Steven, Samuel E. Wilt, Jr. and his wife Cheryl, and John P. Wilt and his wife Annemarie; cherished grandmother of Samuel, III, Steven,Jr., Jody, Stefanie, Bryan and the late Brandi Lynn, great-grandmother of Samuel, IV.,Vince, Sydney, Chloey, Maleia, Hope, Madison, and great-great- grandmother of Samuel, V. Also survived by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Family members and friends may call at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME OF LANSDOWNE, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Rd., Lansdowne , MD. 21227 on Sunday from 3-5PM and 7-9PM where a funeral service will be held on Monday beginning at 11AM. Interment to follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
