On March 25, 2014 ARTHUR "AL" ADAMS, JR. passed away. He was the caring son of the late Arthur Leroy Adams, Sr. and Reva Adams; beloved husband of the late Thelma A. Adams; loving father of John W. Scherer and his wife Dale, David E. Adams and his wife Laurie, Joyce L. Jones and her husband Rudy, and James H. Adams and his wife Diane; cherished pop pop of 9 grandchildren and great-pop pop of 20 great-grandchildren; dear brother of John "Billy" Adams and Gladys Gardner. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends may visit at the family owned and operated Ambrose funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 601 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, Maryland 21225 beginning at 11:00AM. Interment Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery at a later date. At the family's request donations in Arthur's memory may be directed to the Lutheran Mission Society , 601, Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, Maryland 21225.
