Annette Delores Washington, youngest daughter of the late Homer and Ninar Williams, was born December 13, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. The youngest of four, Annette was raised in a Christian environment by both parents, while attending the First Baptist Church of Cherry Hill. Annette was educated by the Baltimore City School System and graduated from Carver Vocational Technical High School in 1971. Post high school, Annette enlisted in the United States Army in 1972 and engaged in over sixteen years of active duty. During her service in the US Army, she received multiple honors and numerous awards from the Department of Defense and was honorably discharged in 1994. During her early years with the Army, Annette met and subsequently married Henry Rene’ Washington Sr on June 27, 1983. From this union was one son, Henry Rene’ Washington Jr.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Homer Sr. and Ninar Williams, sister Mary Williams, and brothers James Williams and Homer Williams Jr. Annette leaves to cherish her loving memories, her beloved son, Henry Rene’ Washington Jr and his father Henry Rene’ Washington Sr.; niece Felicia Williams and Frentrice Williams, nephew Jimmy Williams and Randy Williams as well as a host of relatives and lifetime friends, Nola Boynton, Beverly Williams, Michelle Williams, Bernie McKinney, Christel Parker and Marlin E Pak
Family members and friends will honor Annette’s life on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Kingdom Builders Church of God in Christ, 1490 Mattewstown Road, Hanover, Maryland 21076 with wake from 9am-11am where funeral service will follow beginning at 11am. Interment Arbutus Memorial Park.
