Anne Parsons

Anne Elizabeth Parsons, originally of East Haven, Connecticut, died December 23 at Stella Maris Hospice. She was the beloved daughter of the late Mary F. and James R. Parsons, and beloved sister of the late James H. and Charles H. Parsons. She is survived by cousins and friends in Connecticut, and by many friends in Baltimore, her home for the past 46 years. Anne was blessed with wisdom and level-headed common sense. She was brave and independent, kind and generous, creative and resourceful; the world is a little less special without her. She found happiness and meaning in small acts of love: growing African violets, baking cookies, finding the most intuitive gift or card for a friend. Anne bore her final illness with grace and dignity. Friends are invited to an informal memorial service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 2 at the Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Stella Maris Hospice at 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
