Anna Mauer
February 2, 1918 — June 21, 2016
Anna “ Gertrude” Mauer, age 98, passed away on June 21, 2016 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the beloved wife of the late John Calvin Mauer; loving mother of Kenneth H. Mauer and his wife Marlene, John G. Mauer and the late Georgiana; cherished grandmother of Katey, Jennifer and Deanna, and great-grandmother of Vincent, Alec, Nathan, Georgiana and John Henry. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Family members and friends will honor Gertrude’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus, MD 21227 with a public viewing on Thursday from 3-5pm & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 1200 Linden Ave., Baltimore, MD 21227 beginning at 11am. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. At the family’s request in lieu of flowers donations in Gertrude’s memory may be directed to Holy Nativity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
