On February 13th, 2023, Ann Elizabeth Magrogan-Goodrich (nee Tewey) passed away. Born on November 27th, 1932 to the late Anna Tewey (nee Gallery) and the late Leo M. Tewey, Sr., she is survived by: Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Magrogan, Mr. and Mrs. George Leipold, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Magrogan, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dillard, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Ann is preceded in death by her first husband, John I. Magrogan, second husband, Jessie Goodrich, daughter, Paula Magrogan, brother, Leo Tewey, Jr., significant friend, Fred Willie, mother and father-in-law, Randolph and Louise Magrogan, brother-in-law, Mac Magrogan, sister-in-law, Joanne Magrogan, sister-in-law, Barbara Magrogan, and brother-in-law, Robert J. Magrogan.
Ann was a lifelong Catholic and active parishioner of Church of the Ascension as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Dewey Lowman Post 109. Ann was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Monastery School and IND Highschool.
Family and friends are welcome to the family owned and operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Arbutus on Sunday, February 19th from 2 PM to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of Ascension, 1527 Potomac Ave., Halethorpe on Monday, February 20th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s name to The Catholic Communities of Ascension and St. Augustine or the Caritas House.
