Alene Ketchel

Alene V. Ketchel, age 89, passed away on November 3, 2020. She is the beloved mother of the late Brenda Cronin, the late Pamela Ketchel, Terry Castruita, and Tony Ketchel; cherished grandmother of Toni Rogers, Clinton Felix, the late Dion Richison, Alena Ketchel, the late Alicia Tello, Brian Wilson, the late Brandon Ketchel, Janezia Ketchel, and Natezia Ketchel; dear great grandmother of Arielle, Breanna, Tayana, Brenda, and Devina; caring sister of Jimmy Conoly, the late Hazel, the late Sue, and the late Eddie. Alene is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. She is also preceded in death by her dear friend Charles Nehr.

A memorial service will be held at Ambrose Funeral Home, 1328 Sulphur Spring Road, Arbutus, MD 21227 on Saturday, December 5 at 11am with a gathering beginning at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Alene’s memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave. Suite 1100 N, Bethesda, MD 20814.
