Alan Dale Monroe, Sr.

Alan Dale Monroe, Sr., age 67, sadly passed away on March 1st, 2023. Alan was born in Baltimore, went to school through the 8^th grade in Maryland, and worked at Body and Fender Repairs on cars. He was also an avid animal lover. Alan resided with Cheryl and Mark Monroe.

He was the beloved son of Hilda Monroe-Grierson & the late Charles D. Monroe, Sr., and stepson to the late Paul F. Grierson. He is the loving father of Kiya Monroe-White & Alan Monroe, Jr; cherished grandfather of Keisha White, Chelsea White, Brandon White, Alan M. Monroe, Justin Monroe, and Ariel Everly; dear great-grandfather of Maleyah Weldon, Deandre Hutchinson, Jr., & Chance Hutchinson;  and caring brother of Mark E. Monroe, Glen D. Monroe, Sandra Jacobs, Bryan Monroe, the late Charles D. Monroe, Jr., the late Ronald W. Monroe, the late Karon E. Compton, & the late Dale R. Monroe. Alan is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Family & friends may gather at Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc. 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Tuesday, March 7th from 3:00-5:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 8th at 12:30pm. Interment will immediately follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
