Eugene Roberts

Eugene Albert Roberts, age 76, affectionately known as Gene unexpectedly passed away on December 3, 2017 in the comfort of his home. He was born on August 6, 1941 in Waycross, Georgia to the late Mary Virginia Roberts (nee Blount) and to the late Donald Roberts. He is the beloved husband of the late Margaret Roberts; loving father of Kimberly Roberts and her boyfriend George, Albert Roberts and his girlfriend Liz Holden, Shelley Sovero and her husband Rick, and Stephanie Livesay and her husband Kenny. Cherished grandfather of Sam, Donald, AJ, Alex, Alyssa, Savannah, Andrew, and great grandfather of Anthony, Layla, Serenity and Noah. Gene is preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Roberts.
Family members and friends will honor Gene’s life at the family owned and operated AMBROSE FUNERAL HOME, INC. Arbutus with a public visitation on Wednesday, 12/6/17 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, 12/7/17 beginning 12noon.
